Connect an Exness or FTMO MT5 account.

Jassrox trades on your own MetaTrader 5 account through a private terminal on its servers. Your deposits stay with your broker; you connect with the same login, password and server you would type into MT5.

In short

How do you connect an MT5 broker to Jassrox?

Jassrox connects to Exness and FTMO MetaTrader 5 accounts with the account's login number, trading password and server name; these are the brokers currently supported for live trading. Live accounts need the Pro plan; the free plan uses a built-in demo with $10,000 in virtual funds and needs no broker account.

Jassrox is software, not a broker: it places orders on the account you connect and never holds your deposits. Each live account runs in its own MT5 terminal on Jassrox servers.

Connecting

How do you connect a live MT5 account?

Four steps on the Accounts page.

  1. 01

    Open Accounts

In the app, go to Accounts and choose Connect a live MT5 broker. Live connections need the Pro plan.

  2. 02

    Pick your broker

Choose Exness or FTMO: these are the brokers currently supported for live trading.

  3. 03

    Enter login, password and server

Use the MT5 login number, the trading password (not the investor password) and the exact server name your broker gave you.

  4. 04

    Wait for the connection

A private MT5 terminal starts for your account on Jassrox servers, which takes a few minutes. The account shows its status until it is ready to trade.

Demo and live

What is the difference between a demo and a live connection?

The demo is the built-in Jassrox demo account: $10,000 in virtual funds, simulated fills, resettable at any time, free, and no broker account needed. A live connection is your real MT5 account, with real money, real spreads and real slippage. Liquidity Sweep needs live candles and runs on live accounts only. See pricing for plans.

Account details handled for you

What does Jassrox handle about your broker's account?

Brokers differ in naming, currency and contract details. These are the differences the platform accounts for.

Symbol suffixes

A broker may list gold as XAUUSDm or a pair as EURUSD.raw. Jassrox matches the suffixed name to the underlying instrument and trades the exact symbol your account uses.

Cent accounts

A cent account's figures are shown in its deposit currency, for example USC, as on your broker statement, and amounts you type are read in that currency.

Broker lot limits

Autopilot sizes positions within your broker's minimum lot and lot step, and stays flat with a reason when the minimum lot would break your loss budget.

A private terminal

Each live account runs in a private MT5 terminal on Jassrox servers, so no VPS or open terminal is needed. See cloud MT5 execution.

Encrypted credentials

A stored MT5 login is encrypted and deleted when you disconnect. See security.

Read-only logins

An investor password connects read-only: the account page explains that the bot can see the account but cannot trade until you reconnect with the trading password.

Compatibility

What does broker compatibility depend on?

Even at a supported broker, whether a specific MT5 account can be traded by a bot depends on a few details of that account.

  • The server name

It must match exactly what your broker gave you, including demo or real.

  • The password type

A trading password lets a bot trade; an investor password is read-only.

  • The symbols on the account

A bot can only trade instruments your account actually offers.

  • Contract and lot limits

Minimum lot, lot step and contract size decide how small a position can be.

  • Trading hours

The bot follows the broker's trading sessions and does not open new trades into a closed market.

  • Your broker's terms

Account rules, especially a prop firm's, can restrict automated trading. Check before connecting.

Prop firms

Can you run a bot on a prop-firm account?

A prop-firm account is a funded or challenge account with hard loss rules set by the firm. FTMO MT5 accounts can be connected to Jassrox; other prop firms are not currently supported. Jassrox's daily, weekly and drawdown limits can sit inside the firm's rules, but they do not guarantee compliance. Read the prop-firm bot checklist first.

FAQ

Questions people ask

All questions

Which brokers work with Jassrox?

Live trading is currently supported on MetaTrader 5 accounts at Exness and FTMO. Other brokers are not available for live trading. The built-in demo needs no broker account at all.

Does Jassrox work with MetaTrader 4?

No. Jassrox connects MetaTrader 5 accounts only.

Is my MT5 password stored?

Your MT5 login runs a private terminal for your account on Jassrox servers. It is stored encrypted, used only by that terminal and deleted when you disconnect.

Can I use my investor password?

An investor password is read-only: the bot can see the account but cannot place trades, and the account page says so. Use your trading password to let a bot trade.

Can I connect a prop-firm account?

FTMO MT5 accounts can be connected. Other prop firms are not currently supported. Check FTMO's current rules on automation, daily loss and news trading first: Jassrox limits do not guarantee compliance with them.

Why is my symbol called XAUUSDm instead of XAUUSD?

Many brokers add a suffix to symbol names for their account types. Jassrox matches suffixed names such as EURUSDm or EURUSD.raw to the underlying instrument and trades the exact name your account uses.
