Jassrox

Agent & API

Give an AI agent a key, not your password.

Jassrox Agent is an MCP server for your trading workspace. Connect the AI client you already use with an API key you scope, watch what it does, and revoke it in one click.

In short

What is the Jassrox Agent API?

Jassrox Agent is a Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI client read and manage your Jassrox account through a fixed set of tools. It authenticates with an API key you create, and that key decides whether the agent can only look, or can also trade on live accounts.

The agent works through the same rules as the web app: your risk settings, plan limits and account checks still apply.

Tool set

What can an agent do?

The tools fall into three groups. Which ones work depends on the key the agent is using.

Read

Every key

  • Account summary and risk settings
  • Bots, one bot's details and its trades
  • Live positions on an account
  • Market quotes and margin estimates
  • Connected brokers
  • Autopilot outcome ledger and lessons

Manage bots

Live accounts need live trading

  • Create a bot from a description or a config
  • Update a bot's configuration
  • Start, stop, restart or delete a bot
  • Explain a bot's performance

Trade

Live trading keys only

  • Place a manual order
  • Close one position
  • Close all positions on an account

Permissions

Read-only keys and live-trading keys

A read-only key, the default, can read everything on your account and manage bots on demo accounts. A live-trading key is one you created with the trading permission ticked: it can also place and close orders and create, edit, start or restart bots on live accounts. Give each client its own key, and only allow live trading to a client you trust with real money.

Controls

How agent access stays under your control

Shown once, stored hashed

The full key appears only when you create it. Jassrox stores a hash, so a key cannot be read back later.

Instant revocation

Keys are checked on every request. Revoke one and the next call from that client is refused.

Audited changes

Each tool that changes something writes an audit entry marked as the agent's, beside your own sign-ins and settings changes.

Rate-limited per key

Each key can make up to 60 calls a minute, so one runaway client cannot flood your account.

Set up

How to connect an AI client

  1. 01

    Create an API key

In your workspace's Security page, name a key after the client that will use it. Leave live trading off unless you need it.

  2. 02

    Copy it once

The full key is shown only at creation. Jassrox keeps a hash, not the key, so store it in your client's settings right away.

  3. 03

Add the server to your client

Point an MCP-compatible client at mcp.jassrox.com and send the key as a bearer token.

  4. 04

    Ask, then check the log

Ask the agent about your bots and trades. Every change it makes shows up in your account's audit log.

Plain language

Creating bots by describing them

An agent can create a bot from a plain-language description, using the same AI assistant that maps an idea onto a strategy the engine really runs. On a live account this needs a live-trading key, because a running bot on a live account trades real money.

Plainly

What it does, and what it does not

It does

  • Connects any MCP-compatible client you choose to your account.
  • Separates read-only keys from keys allowed to trade on live accounts.
  • Logs every change an agent makes in your audit log.
  • Cuts access off on the next request when you revoke a key.

It does not

  • Allow live trading on a key unless you tick it at creation.
  • Bypass your risk settings, plan limits or account checks.
  • Make an AI agent's trading decisions safe or profitable. Leveraged trading can lose money.
  • Store the full key after showing it to you.

FAQ

Questions people ask

All questions

What is Jassrox Agent?

Jassrox Agent is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at mcp.jassrox.com. It gives an AI client you choose a set of tools to read your bots, trades and positions and, if you allow it, to manage bots and place trades on your MT5 accounts.

Which AI clients can connect to Jassrox Agent?

Any MCP-compatible client that can connect to a remote MCP server over HTTP and send an API key as a bearer token. Jassrox does not ship its own chat client; you bring the one you use.

Can an AI agent trade my live account?

Only with a key you created with live trading allowed. Without it, the agent cannot place or close orders, and cannot create, edit, start or restart bots on a live account. Demo accounts are open to every key.

How do I stop an agent's access?

Revoke its key on the Security page. The key is checked on every request, so the agent loses access on its very next call.

Can I see what an agent did on my account?

Yes. Every tool that changes something, such as starting a bot or placing an order, writes its own entry to your account's audit log, marked as coming from the agent.
